      As my thirst for knowledge continues about the British Manufacturing industry and what exists today, I took a trip to one of the oldest Cotton Mills in the UK; Sir Richard Arkwright’s Masson Mill in Matlock Derbyshire. I fell in love with the car park as soon as we arrived.  After I’d got over the car park we visited the working textile museum, where you could clock in with your ticket. It’s open from 10am until 4pm, but there are two showings of the weaving and spinning machines working with demonstrations from experts linked to the trade.
